Welcome to Training & Placement Cell

The Training & Placement Cell, NIT Bhopal facilitates the process of placement of students passing out from the Institute besides collaborating with leading organizations and institutes in setting up of internship and training program of students.

The Training & Placement Cell interacts with many industries in the country, of which nearly 130 companies visit the campus for holding campus interviews. Over the years, the department has maintained symbiotic, vibrant and purposeful relationship with Industries across the country and as a result, has built up an impressive placement record both in terms of percentage of registered students placed, as well as the number of companies visiting the campus. The industries which approach the institute come under the purview of:

• Core Engineering industries
• IT & IT enabled services
• Manufacturing Industries
• Consultancy Firms
• Finance Companies
• Management Organizations
• R & D laboratories

The placement season runs through the course of the year commencing in mid of July through to April. Pre - Placement Talks are also conducted in this regard as per mutual convenience. Job offers, dates of interviews, selection of candidates etc. are announced through the Training & Placement Cell.

The following are the facilities to aid the process:

• Auditoriums to conduct pre - placement talks and written tests.
• Well-furnished air conditioned rooms to conduct interviews and group discussions.
• Fully computerized office.
• Student volunteers to assist on the day of the visit.
