Research Projects

       * Prof. S.K.Katiyar, Prof. M.K.Choudhary and Prof. Kamal Singh have a project for development of Ground Positioning System aided mapping facilities in Survey Lab. A grant of Rs. 5 lakhs provided by MHRD.
       * Prof. S.K.Katiyar has undertaken a Project for Establishment of Remote Sensing Lab. A grant of Rs. 7 lakhs received from MHRD.
       * The Department of Civil Engineering has been selected as the State Technical Agency for Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana.
       * Dr. Anil Kumar Sharma has been sanctioned a project entitled "Modernization of facilities in Air Pollution Control Lab", Rs.10 lakhs sponsored by MHRD, New Delhi.
       * Prof. Vishnu Prasad, "Upgradation of Universal Test Rig", Rs.12 lakhs sponsored by MHRD, New Delhi.
       * Dr. Rajnish Shrivastava, "Modernization of Water and Waste Water Lab", Rs.20 lakhs sponsored by MHRD, New Delhi.
       * Dr. S.K.Dubey, "Modernisation of Structural Engineering Lab.", Rs.21 lakhs, sponsored by MHRD, New Delhi.
       * A project on 'Studies on the Design Modification & Optimization of Cross Flow Turbine '- AICTE sponsored a project. (Rs. 5 lakhs) - Dr. V.K.Gahlot
       * A project on "Studies on Hydraulic Design of Model of Pump Sump and Intake". Sponsored by MHRD (Rs.9 lakhs) - Dr.V.K.Gahlot.
       * A research grant of Rs.2 lakhs under "AICTE Career Award for Young Teachers". ( Rs.2 lakhs) - Dr. Rajnish Shrivastava.
       * A project on "Hydrodynamic Design Optimization of Axial Flow Hydraulic Turbine", ponsored by MHRD (Rs.9 lakhs) - Prof. Vishnu Prasad.
       * A project on "Design and Development of Remote Monitoring System for Small Hydro Power Plant" for Rs.12lakhs sponsored by MHRD, An Inter Disciplinary Project is being jointly undertaken by Energy Centre and Civil Engg. Department.
